Work on your PDF without uploading it

A file worth keeping private shouldn’t have to travel to be worked on. Every tool here runs in this tab, on your device — drop a file below, open your browser’s Network tab, and watch nothing leave. No account, no server, no copy kept.

All the tools

Where the work happens

When you drop a PDF here, your browser opens it as bytes held in this tab’s memory. The compressing, redacting or merging runs on your own device’s processor, and the finished file is written back into the tab for you to download. Your file is never sent anywhere, because there is nowhere to send it: no server does the work. The page is a program that runs beside your file, not a mailbox that ships it off.

Prove it in thirty seconds

You don’t have to take the claim on faith. Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, then drop a file and run any tool on this page. Your document never appears in the request list — the work happens without a single byte of it going out. The whole source is public, so the mechanism behind that is readable too, not just assertable.

Yes, it still works with the internet off

You need a connection to load this page the first time, because the tool’s code has to reach your browser. After it has loaded, working on your file needs no network at all: you can switch your connection off and every tool still runs. That is the line between loading a program and handing it your data — only the first crosses the wire, and only once.

What “nothing leaves your device” includes — and its one edge

This page makes no third-party request of any kind: no analytics, no ad network, no font or script pulled from someone else’s server. The single image in the sponsor slot is hosted on this same site. The only bytes that ever leave your device are ones you choose to send — if you use a Share button, that posts a link to this page, never your file. Said plainly so the claim has an edge you can check rather than a promise you can’t.

Why the same fact makes it free

The privacy and the price come from one decision. Because no server does the work, there is nothing to meter, nothing to bill for, and nothing of yours to store. One static sponsor link, hosted here, pays for the page — which is the whole reason there’s no account, no quota, and no watermark on what you make.

Questions people actually ask

Does this PDF tool upload my file?
No. Opening, processing and saving all happen in your browser, on your own device. You can confirm it in seconds: open your developer tools, watch the Network tab, and run any tool here — your file is never in the request list.
Can I use it without an internet connection?
You need a connection to load the page once, because the tool’s code has to reach your browser. After that, working on your file needs no network — you can disconnect and it still runs.
Is it safe for confidential, legal or medical documents?
Your file never leaves your device, so it is never on someone else’s server to be stored, scanned or leaked — which for a sensitive document is the point. The honest limit is your own device: what someone with access to it can open is outside what any web page can protect.
Do you keep or see my files?
There is nothing to keep. Your file is never sent to us, so it never exists on our side to store or read. The page makes no third-party request either — no analytics, no ad network.
How is this free if nothing is uploaded?
For the same reason it’s private: no server does the work, so there is nothing to meter or bill. One static sponsor link, hosted on this site, pays for the page.

We invite you to double-check our work

Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and run any tool on this page and nothing leaves your device.

The whole source is on GitHub. Read it.

Found a bug, or a claim that doesn’t hold up? Tell us: pdf@geodeforge.com. An example file turns a guess into a quick fix — and if yours is too sensitive to share, we understand; a description still helps.

That’s the difference between a privacy policy and a fact.

Tell someone it exists

This project has no marketing budget and no growth team — it spreads or it does not.
