What "PDF to image" honestly means

A rendered page is a picture of the page: the output has no selectable text, no links, no vector crispness at infinite zoom — it is pixels at the resolution you chose. That's exactly right for slides, previews, and pasting a page into a chat, and exactly wrong for archiving a text document. If you need the text, Get the text out reads it directly; this tool is for when you need the look of the page.

Resolution is your trade

Higher DPI, bigger and sharper images; the default suits screens. The setting is a real choice with a real cost, so it's in front of you rather than hidden.
