Add page numbers to a PDF

Numbers where you want them, starting where you say. On your device.

All the tools

Small tool, few surprises

Pick a corner or center, a starting number, and a format ("7", "Page 7", "7 / 42"); the numbers are drawn onto each page as ordinary content, visible everywhere including print. The receipt confirms what was stamped and where. If your document already carries page numbers in its content, this adds a second set — the tool cannot remove numbers that are part of the original page drawing.

Questions people actually ask

Can numbering start at something other than 1?
Yes — any starting number, so a document that begins at its own page 5 can say so.
Can I skip the cover page?
Yes — choose the page range that gets numbers.
Is the file uploaded?
No. Numbering happens in your browser.
