GeodeQuill

Make my voice

Paste a few things you wrote. GeodeQuill measures how you write, right here in your browser, and gives you a voice file your AI app can use. Your text never leaves this device.

1. Your samples

Three or more pieces, about 600 words in all or more: an email, a post, a letter. Put a line with three dashes (---) between pieces. Only text you wrote yourself; anything a tool helped write teaches the voice the wrong habits.

Transcripts of you talking: a speech, a voice note, an interview. Only your own words, without names, times or questions from others. Separate pieces with a line of three dashes. These let the voice sound right when it writes something to be said aloud.

Short, like "work" or "casual".

What it measures

Sentence and paragraph length and how much they vary, contractions, punctuation, how sentences start, reading level (for writing in the Latin alphabet, such as English or Spanish), and, for speech, fillers and questions. The phrases and words in the file are the ones you choose. Each measure becomes a range from how your own pieces differ from each other. GeodeQuill writes to those ranges and checks its drafts against them.

Your text stays here

The measuring runs inside your browser. What you paste is never sent anywhere, the page loads its files only from this site, and nothing is kept after you close the page unless you save the file. The first time downloads the measuring engine, about 12 MB; your browser keeps it after that.

The engine is Pyodide, which runs Python in a web page, used under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. The measuring is GeodeQuill's own checker, and you can read every line.
