What it checks
Phrases and words that machine-written text leans on, in English, Chinese and Spanish. In every language: punctuation, layout and rhythm. For writing in the Latin alphabet, such as English or Spanish, its reading level, from very easy to very hard. With a voice chosen, how the draft compares with that voice's measured habits. It is not an AI detector and gives no "human" score: detectors guess, and nobody can promise their verdict.

The checker runs inside your browser. What you paste is never sent anywhere, and the page loads its files only from this site. The first check downloads the checker's engine, about 12 MB, so it takes a moment; your browser keeps it after that.
The engine is Pyodide, which runs Python in a web page, used under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. The checker is GeodeQuill's own, and you can read every line.
