GeodeQR

QR codes that never expire.

Free, no account, nothing leaves your browser — and every style stays inside limits proven against a deliberately bad scanner.

A transparent code keeps scanning on any light background.

PDF ships a vector matrix with the full design. EPS is the bare vector code. PNG and SVG stay sharpest — JPG is for systems that require it.

This code doesn't need us. It keeps working even if this site disappears.

Bulk codes from a spreadsheet

Upload a CSV. Get a ZIP of codes — generated in your browser, free.

Your QR code points exactly where you tell it. Nothing sits between the scan and your link, because there is no server involved at all. That is also why it is free: a static code costs us almost nothing to make, so we do not charge for it, do not watermark it, and do not put anything inside it. Your code stays yours.

We invite you to double-check our work.

Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and make a code. Nothing leaves your device.

The whole source is on GitHub. Read it, fork it, run it offline.

Found a bug, or a claim that doesn’t hold up? Tell us — an example helps enormously, though we understand if yours is too sensitive to share: qr@geodeforge.com

That’s the difference between a privacy policy and a fact.

Tell someone it exists

This project has no marketing budget and no growth team — it spreads or it does not.

No watermark — there is no paid tier, so there is nothing to unlock

Trying to remove one? Remaking the code takes less time than the editing — and there is no watermark to remove here, because there is no paid tier.

Nothing you type reaches us. There's nowhere for it to go — no server, no database, no backend. Open your browser's Network tab and make a code: nothing happens. Read the source.

Why editing the image doesn't work

A dynamic code doesn't contain your link — it contains a link to the generator's server, which forwards each scan to your link. Scrub the watermark off and reprint it, and your scans still route through that server, and the code still dies if the forwarding stops. The watermark was never the part that could hurt you.

Why there's none here

There's no watermark here for the same reason there's no "Pro" button: no paid tier exists. Nothing is held back, so there's nothing to sell back to you — and a watermark with nothing to unlock would just be a stain on your code.

Vector export, free — and it keeps your design

The formats print shops ask for — SVG, PDF and EPS — are all here, free, and the export keeps your design: colors, styling, labels.

The PDF's code matrix is true vector, crisp at any size. The labels are embedded at print DPI as raster, on purpose: PDF's built-in fonts are Latin-only, and vector text would silently mangle a Chinese or Arabic label. A pretty export that destroys your shop's name in its own language is not a feature. Also free: print-DPI PNG, transparent backgrounds, and JPG for systems that insist.

What we don't have, and why that's the deal

No dynamic codes, no scan analytics. Those genuinely need a server running for as long as your code lives, plus someone moderating what gets redirected — real costs, honestly sold by the providers who charge for them. If that's what you need, buy it knowingly; expect an account, a subscription, and probably a watermark on the free tier, because that funnel is what pays for the server.

Declining all of that is not a gap in this tool. It's the reason everything else on this page can be free with nothing held back.
